My APPS for Download:

SymbOS Email [01.01.2021] became possible once Quigs was released with disk access and a multiline textbox, two things that simply were not available back in Unify or SymStudio. Building an email client for an 8-bit machine had always been a dream of mine! This is by far my biggest project and application to date. SymbOS Email supports POP3 and SMTP, along with Base64 for authentication, and it only supports plain text. This email client works best when talking to other SymbOS machines, though if you are lucky, you can also receive email on a modern machine. I worked on this project for a couple of years, and it is still far from perfect, it is almost impossible to support every modern email (MIME) protocol out there, so I decided to keep things as simple as possible. Be aware that not every modern email client supports text-based emails, and it is wise not to connect this to your daily production mailbox, since modern emails can be huge these days, and that will most certainly crash your poor SymbOS machine! File download is supported, although there is currently no working Base64 file converter available for SymbOS.
