Flappy Bird [04.05.2022] exists because the latest release of Quigs added support for the G9k video chip. It is a small game for SymbOS that runs fully in pattern mode, using the whole screen. Trebmint had just finished adding G9k support to Quigs, and this game became a nice little proof of concept, showing that different Z80-based SymbOS machines can run exactly the same game on different hardware, using the same G9k chip and the same operating system underneath. |
