Simple Messenger [01.12.2017] was the first network application I wrote in Unify, right around the time network support was introduced into the toolkit. There are actually three versions of Simple Messenger: one that supports a direct peer-to-peer connection, and others that are client-server based. The server side is hosted at network.symbos.org:280, and there is even a small Windows chat client, so you can talk to your SymbOS machine from a modern PC as well. |
