SymBUS Remote [13.04.2018] started out as a bit of fun: I decided to host a small TCP server on the SymbOS machine itself. By connecting to that port with a simple telnet client, you can take some control over your SymbOS computer remotely, starting an application, opening a message box, and so on. It is very limited in what it can do, but it nicely proved that you could trigger applications on a SymbOS machine remotely from another machine on the network. |
