Snake [23.07.2018] came about because BattleShip was more of a turn-based network game, and I wanted to try something with a bit more movement to it. The Snake game is, in a way, still turn-based under the hood, but the turns switch a lot faster, so it feels more like real-time play. This game has 10 levels, and while the gameplay is admittedly a little limited and repetitive, the goal was really to prove that something like this would even be possible on an 8-bit home computer. It can also be played entirely single player. The idea is simple: grow your snake as big as you can, and rack up the highest score. |
